Dear world , Thank you for being who you truly are , forever giving,

endless in your love for me.

Knowing that I must have food and water,

Knowing I must have cold and heat.

Dear world, what a great parent you are.

You give me the stars and the moon,

The sun and the blue skies.

You allow me to be the gardener of the plants, minerals and elements.

You allow me to be the caretaker of the animal kingdom, the feathered ones and the many legged crawling ones.

Thank you for the responsibility you give me.

So on behalf of me and my brothers and sisters , let me apologise, with a broken heart.

We have truly messed up haven't we!

 You keep on giving us chance after chance,

Again and again.

Like true brothers and sisters, we seem to have trouble sharing,

We are so good at fighting and snatching from each other.

We are so good at being selfish.

Sorry, it’s nearly too late I know.

Mother forgiveness isn’t enough anymore,

We have scarred and terrorised your soul,

Stripped you bare in places.

All I can do is open my eyes and help others to open theirs.

This I hope will be enough, for now.

Now is all we have,

Because one day tomorrow won’t be there.
