I am on duty 24 hours a day. I can hear everything and know all that happens in your day. I do night shifts while you sleep and we meet and talk and laugh and sometimes we cry. I am the light for you in the dark and when you are too busy I am the heartbeat and the breath that keeps breathing anyway. I am the comfort in your uncertainness and the power in your despair. I am the healing in your sick times and the recovery when you feel better. I am the air that you breathe and the water you drink. I am the sky that shines brightly and the rain that waters the land. I am your high when you are low. I am your shopping list for your wants and desires. Your answer to everything. I am the strength in your weakness. I am your company in alone times, the protector when you are scared. I am on duty 24 hours a day. I am your wellbeing, your joy and your nourishment. I am the answer to your questions, the end to the destination and the beginning of the end. I am always and forever. I am your father, mother, friend and neighbour, in every face you see. I am in everyone and everything. When you call me I am there, I have so many names and so many children but I will know exactly where you are and what you need, when I hear your call 24 hours a day.
