Like a ghost you are standing alone,
You held on tight when the wind blew your
Fragile petals, flying like long hair on a cliff top.
You grew out of the sun, in the shadow of a damp and shaded land,
But how little you are for the strength that you show and
Standing all by yourself, I felt a tear for a foriegn land.
I felt a tear for the flower you are,
Not as powerful in armory but much more strong,
I will sing your beautiful Ukrainian song.
I will sing it loud and sing it clear making sure our leaders hear.
Ukraine, with your colours flying high,
You may be battered and bruised but the mothers here, cry for your men, that cannot leave,
We cry for the those who fight,
The children and infants who still want to play.
We are with you Ukraine,
Although our hands are partly tied,
We are with you in Spirit and stand by your side.
